Gurgaon workers protest on highway

Gurgaon: Thousands of workers are protesting on the Gurgaon-Manesar highway since Tuesday morning. Sixty companies operating in the area - India's biggest automobile hub - may get affected by the protest call.

Though policemen have been deployed to maintain law and order, traffic too is likely to be affected.

On Sunday night, a worker was killed in a clash at auto parts maker Rico India' plant. Workers have been protesting since the incident.
