Can I have sex if I have an enlarged spleen?

I have an extremely bad case of mono/epstin-barr virus. I have an enlarged spleen1. Is it OK to have sex in this case?

The main danger of an enlarged spleen is traumatic rupture. For this reason, we recommend that contact sports, which can result in a direct blow to the spleen, should be avoided. However, sexual contact without overdue pressure on the spleen should be OK.
