West Asia continues to be on the boil after the coordinated strikes on Iran by the US and Israel which led to the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last week. Amid the conflict, Indian actor and producer Priyanka Chopra has shared a message of hope also marking the festival of Holi on a sombre note.
On her Instagram Story, Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of Holi Dahan as she alluded to the current tension across the Middle East.

"There's a lot unfolding around the world. It's hard. It's heavy. But light has a way of showing us the way. Here's to the triumph of good over evil. #HolikaDahan," she captioned her post.
Following the US-Israel strikes, Iran has targeted several Gulf states, including the UAE. According to reports, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been experiencing missile and drone strikes.
Indian actor Sonal Chauhan of Jannat fame, who is in Dubai, recently took to social media to ask the Government of India for help. Other celebrities such as Honey Singh and Chiranjeevi's daughter Sreeja Konidela told fans that she is safe and sound amid the Middle East crisis. Punjabi star Ammy Virk said his wife and son are stuck in Dubai but are holding on to hope.
Actor Vivek Oberoi, who is currently in Dubai, shared a note on X asking people to steer clear of spreading unverified information.
