Actress Pooja Bedi was recently part of a tell-all interview hosted by actor Samir Soni , in which she opened up about her equation with fiance Maneck Contractor. Pooja Bedi described the Goa-based businessman as just the right partner for her and shared tit-bits about what makes their relationship special. Going back in time, Pooja Bedi narrated a conversation she had with Maneck Contractor once, which she will remember forever. Talking to Samir Soni, the Pooja Bedi said: "I asked Maneck once, 'Sweetheart, does it bother you that people come up and try to flirt or try to say certain things a certain way and you can see that they perhaps want more?'"
The 51-year-old actress said Maneck Contractor's reply was a sign of "confidence", which drew her towards him all the more: "He says, 'The beautiful part is, you are with me because you love me. It is a compliment that men want you. And you want me. And that to me is the most important. It's not about who wants you, it's about who you want.' And that shows such inner strength and inner confidence, and self-love and self-respect. And I admire that about him. That's why I am engaged to him." Pooja Bedi and Maneck Contractor got engaged in 2019.
Pooja Bedi was previously married to Farhan Furniturewalla - the former couple have a son named Omar and daughter Alaya Furniturewalla, who is an actress. The former couple divorced in 2003 - Farhan Furniturewalla is now married to wife Laila Khan.
Pooja Bedi debuted in Bollywood in 1991 film Vishkanya but she's best -known for her role in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, featuring Aamir Khan and Ayesha Jhulka in the lead roles. She featured in headlines after starring in controversial celebrity reality show Bigg Boss 5.
