- In the original Zanjeer, Bindu featured as Mona, the don's moll, while Ajit played the villain and Amitabh Bachchan was the protagonist. Veteran actor Pran also featured in the film as a loyal friend.
- Pria said it was great styling Mahie, as she came with a clean slate and gave her free hand to experiment with her look the way she wanted.
- "It was very exciting for me because Mahie has not been presented that way and I prefer people who come with a blank canvas, so that I can draw what I want to. If they are good actors, they take it like a sponge," said the designer, who has also styled the film's leading actress Priyanka Chopra.
