In the real world, Taapsee Pannu became the unwilling centre of controversy after she was recently raided by the Income Tax department but in a parallel universe, she will have to sprint her way to save her boyfriend Satya's life. For those who require a bit of context, we are talking about the actress' forthcoming project Looop Lapeta, in which she will be seen playing the role of Savi and her on screen boyfriend will be portrayed by Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film, a Hindi adaptation of German hit Run Lola Run, is slated to release in theatres on October 22, this year. The actress announced the film's release date on social media with these words, "A comic-thriller we rarely get! Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya...Looop Lapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021."

Sharing her first look from the film, Taapsee wrote: "Life mein kabhi kabhaar aisa time aata hai jab humein khud se yeh sawaal karna padta hai (In life, there comes a time when we have to ask ourselves this question), 'How did I end up here?' Main bhi yahi soch rahi thi (I was thinking the same thing). No, not the s**t pot, but the s**t life! Hi, this is Savi and welcome on board a crazy ride."
Here are some posts of Taapsee Pannu being "Savi."
Looop Lapeta has been directed by Aakash Bhatia. In the original film, the lead actress was Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu played the role of her boyfriend. Tahir will step into the shoes of Moritz in Looop Lapeta. Run Lola Run, an experimental thriller, was Germany's entry for the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language category in 1999. The film showcased three alternatives alongside Lola's run (precisely twenty minutes to save her boyfriend's life).
