New Delhi:

Hey guys, meet Savi from Looop Lapeta. On Tuesday, Taapsee Pannu, who plays the lead role in the Hindi adaptation of the 1998 German hit Run Lola Run, unveiled the first look poster of herself as super cool Savi. In the poster, Taapsee, sporting a green t-shirt, black shorts and sports shoes, can be seen sitting on a commode inside a dark bathroom and holding a chit in her hand. The actress introduced her character like this: "Life mein kabhi kabhaar aisa time aata hai jab humein khud se yeh sawaal karna padta hai (In life, there comes a time when we have to ask ourselves this question), 'How did I end up here?' Main bhi yahi soch rahi thi (I was thinking the same thing). No, not the s**t pot, but the s**t life! Hi, this is Savi and welcome on board a crazy ride."

Say hello to Savi here:

Taapsee Pannu co-stars with Tahir Raj Bhasin in Looop Lapeta, directed by Aakash Bhatia. In the original film, the lead actress was Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu played the role of her boyfriend. Tahir will step into the shoes of Moritz in Looop Lapeta.

Run Lola Run, directed by Tom Tykwer, revolves around the story of Lola (Franka Potente), who desperately tries to find 100,000 Deutsche marks (German currency) to save her boyfriend Manni's (Moritz Bleibtreu) life.

Last year, announcing her collaboration with Tahir Raj Bhasin and Aakash Bhatia, Taapsee Pannu tweeted: "I'm greedy for good scripts, here's one more. Sony Pictures India and Ellipsis Entertainment's Looop Lapeta."

Taapsee Pannu has been filming Looop Lapeta along with her new project Rashmi Rocket. Looop Lapeta was scheduled to release in January this year but the shooting of the film got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
