Fire Breaks Out At Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Former Residence

New Delhi: A high rise in Bandra, where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan used to live before she got married, caught fire on Tuesday. Aishwarya Rai's mother Brinda Rai reportedly stays in a flat in the La Mer building on the 13th floor. Eight fire-tenders were required to douse the fire and so far no casualty has been reported. Soon after the incident Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted outside the complex. Adman Prahlad Kakkar, who lives in the same building, told Times Now: "Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's mother lives on the 12th floor while Sachin Tendulkar's in-laws stay on the 10th floor."

Aishwarya Rai, who is married to actor Abhishek Bachchan, currently resides in Juhu with her family including Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and her daughter Aaradhya. The Bachchans recently took off for a vacation to Maldives to ring in Amitabh Bachchan's 75th birthday.

Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Karan Johar-directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and is currently making Fanney Khan, co-starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She returned to the silver screen after a gap of five years with 2016's Jazbaa and followed it up with Sarbjit - both films tanked at the box office. It was KJo's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma) which saved the day for Aishwarya.

As for Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in Housefull 3, recently dropped out of JP Dutta's Paltan, a day before the film went on floors. The actor has reportedly signed up for a Nishikanth Kamat film.
