Late wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh's wife Surjit Kaur Randhawa passed away here after a long battle with cancer. She was 72.
"Singh's wife passed away this morning. She had cancer and fought it for nine years," a statement issued here on behalf of his son Vindu Dara Singh said.
Surjit was Singh's second wife and mother of actor Vindu. She was 72.
The last rites were scheduled to be performed on Tuesday evening at Juhu crematorium in suburban Mumbai.
The 83-year-old wrestler-actor died in 2012 following a cardiac arrest.
