An elderly woman was killed when her son allegedly opened fire to commit suicide in Safdarganj area, police said today.
Gulliram attempted suicide with a country-made fire-arm over family dispute in Jalalpur village late last night, but the bullet hit his mother Patiraja who died on the spot, they said.
Gulliram sustained pellet injury and was admitted to a hospital, they said.
