V-Green, ChargeZone Partner To Build VinFast EV Charging Network Across India

VinFast is strengthening its India plans with a major push towards charging infrastructure. V-Green, the EV charging company from the Vingroup ecosystem, has announced a strategic partnership with ChargeZone to create a dedicated charging network for VinFast customers across India. The collaboration marks VinFast's first co-branded charging partnership in the country and is expected to play an important role in supporting the brand's upcoming EV launches.

As part of the agreement, V-Green and ChargeZone will jointly develop a nationwide charging ecosystem for VinFast owners. While V-Green will focus on identifying locations and planning deployments, ChargeZone will handle the complete operation and management of the charging stations.

The first co-branded charging station has already been inaugurated in Vadodara, Gujarat. Located at Mangla Trade Hub next to a VinFast dealership, the facility is designed to offer easy access for customers. The station features a 60 kW DC fast charger with dual-gun technology, allowing two electric vehicles to charge simultaneously.

The rollout has already started at a rapid pace. According to the companies, 15 co-branded charging stations are currently operational across India. These stations form the foundation of the growing VinFast charging network and are aimed at ensuring a seamless ownership experience for future VinFast EV buyers.

The partnership highlights the increasing importance of charging infrastructure as more automakers enter India's fast-growing electric vehicle market. The next phase of expansion is already in the works. V-Green and ChargeZone have confirmed plans to install nearly 100 additional charging stations over the next six months. These stations are expected to be set up across major cities, highways and key travel routes, significantly improving access to charging facilities.

The expanded VinFast charging network will not only support VinFast customers but also contribute to the broader EV ecosystem in India.

V-Green is part of the Vingroup ecosystem, which also includes VinFast and electric mobility platform GSM. The company currently operates around 150,000 charging ports across Vietnam and has expanded into markets such as Indonesia and the Philippines. Meanwhile, ChargeZone is India's largest EV charging network, with more than 15,000 charging points spread across over 1,200 locations in India and the UAE. The company specialises in high-speed charging solutions for electric cars, buses and commercial vehicles.

With VinFast preparing to expand its footprint in India, the new partnership between V-Green and ChargeZone could help address one of the biggest concerns among EV buyers, reliable and accessible charging infrastructure. The growing VinFast charging network is expected to make EV ownership more convenient while supporting the wider adoption of electric mobility in the country.
