Renault Duster To Audi SQ8: Top 5 Upcoming Cars In March 2026

Every new month in India's automotive calendar brings its own share of excitement, and March 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest yet. Buyers, enthusiasts, and even casual readers will find plenty to talk about, with launches spanning mass-market SUVs, luxury performance machines, and electric vehicles. After a lively start to the year, March promises to raise the tempo further with several headline-grabbing arrivals.

Renault Duster

One of the most anticipated returns is the Renault Duster, scheduled for March 17. The SUV has already begun reaching showrooms for display and test drives, with deliveries set to begin in April. For India, the Duster will be offered with two turbo-petrol engines -a 100 hp 1-litre unit shared with the Kiger and a more powerful 163 hp 1.3-litre four-cylinder. Both engines come with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the larger motor also gets a six-speed DCT. Later in the year, around Diwali, a 1.8-litre hybrid will join the line-up, combining a 109 hp petrol engine with a 49 hp electric motor and a 20 hp starter generator for a combined 160 hp output. Once launched, the Duster will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos.

Audi SQ8

The same day will also see Audi expand its Q8 range with the SQ8. Slotting between the standard Q8 and the RS Q8, the SQ8 uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 507 hp and 770 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic and quattro all-wheel drive. Audi claims a 0-100 kmph sprint in 4.1 seconds, positioning the SQ8 as a rival to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe and Porsche Cayenne GTS.
