Nissan Motor India Posts 98% Domestic Sales Growth in March 2026; Gravite Drives Momentum

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) delivered a remarkable performance in March 2026, recording a cumulative sale of 10,388 units. Domestic wholesale stood at 4,408 units, marking the highest-ever monthly domestic wholesale in the last five years and reflecting a robust 98% growth compared to February 2026. Exports contributed 5,980 units during the month.

The strong domestic performance was supported by the commencement of customer deliveries of the all-new Nissan Gravite, which has received a hugely positive response from customers across India. The launch of Gravite marks an important milestone for Nissan in the country, further strengthening the company's product momentum alongside the continued performance of the Nissan Magnite.

Commenting on the monthly sales, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, "March has been a defining month for Nissan in India, the strong growth in domestic sales reflects the positive customer response to our product portfolio. With the commencement of customer deliveries of the all-new Nissan Gravite we would like to thank our customers for their love and appreciation for the Nissan Brand."
