
The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV has been previewed by the brand ahead of its September 7 debut at the Munich Motor Show. The luxury electric vehicle by the brand has most of its design under wraps. However, the teaser hints at a newly designed grille for the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV, which will probably be carried forward to the other EVs by the brand.

Mercedes-Benz GLC EV: Design Expected
With the new Mercedes-Benz GLC EV, the brand is set to introduce its all-new design statement, dubbed Sensual Purity. As per the teaser, the GLC EV will get a newly designed illuminated grille with pixelated LED treatment. The GLC EV's new grille will feature a wide chromed frame and a matrix of 942 backlit LED pixels, seeking inspiration from the radiator design of the 1902 Mercedes Simplex, 600 Pullman, and W 108. Also, the German carmaker is said to offer a non-illuminated version with smoky white plastic squares as an option.
Mercedes-Benz GLC EV: Interior Expected
On the inside, the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV will feature the brand's new MBUX hyperscreen setup, currently available in the Mercedes-Benz EQS and EQE. While most of the interior details have not been revealed yet, the updated MBUX can be expected to offer smoother operation, multiple animation options, and more.
Mercedes-Benz GLC EV: Powertrain
The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV will be powered by the 94.5-kWh battery and supported by an 800V electrical architecture. It will be mated with a 4Matic all-wheel drive system generating a peak power output of 483 hp.
