Mahindra is gearing up for the debut of the XUV 7XO on January 5, 2026. With just days to go before its launch, the company is releasing teasers revealing key details about the upcoming SUV. During the process, the Indian automaker has confirmed a few features with subtle hints in the teaser. Here we take a look at all the features that we know so far.

The latest teaser highlights several features that set the XUV 7XO setting it apart from its predecessor, the XUV700. Among the additions is a 540-degree camera system, replacing the 360-degree setup seen earlier. This new feature is aimed at providing a more comprehensive view of the surroundings, improving visibility, and parking convenience.

Another significant addition is the introduction of an in-car theater mode for rear passengers. This feature enables occupants to stream or connect personal devices for entertainment, all integrated through the Adrenox Plus software suite, which also manages infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle functions.

The teasers also offer glimpses of the SUV's updated exterior design, which borrows elements from Mahindra's newer electric concepts. The front end features redesigned LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps, and a refreshed grille with vertical chrome accents. At the rear, the SUV incorporates a connected full-width light bar with inverted L-shaped elements, giving it a more modern look. Additional updates include new dual-tone alloy wheels, revised bumpers, and new paint options.

Inside, the biggest addition is Mahindra's first triple-screen dashboard layout on an internal combustion engine model. The cabin also features a panoramic sunroof, a triple-tone dashboard, and a redesigned center console. Premium touches such as improved upholstery, revamped door trims, and a brown-and-tan steering wheel further distinguish the cabin. The top-spec variant teased appears to be the AX7L trim, showcasing features like Boss Mode seating, new air vents, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Under the hood, the upcoming XUV 7XO is expected to retain the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel powertrains from the XUV700. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be on offer, along with an all-wheel-drive configuration on select variants.
