Mahindra & Mahindra has raised prices on its rugged Bolero lineup, affecting the Classic, Neo, and Neo Plus models right away. The increases, which top out at Rs 26,500 on ex-showroom tags, vary by variant and reflect rising input costs. These ladder-frame SUVs remain a staple for fleet buyers and rural customers who value simplicity and durability over flashy features.

In the sub-4m B-segment and slightly larger C-segment spaces, Mahindra stands alone with its traditional body-on-frame approach. The Bolero family fits right into that niche, delivering basic diesel power with no-frills cabins built for India's diverse roads. Now, with the latest revision, buyers will notice the pinch most on mid-variants.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

The top Neo Plus, in P4 and P10 forms, gets Rs 9,500 on the base P4 and Rs 4,500 on P10. It stands out with a 2.2-litre diesel from the Scorpio Classic family, offering more grunt for loaded runs-ideal for seven-seaters in the Rs 10.99-11.99 lakh range.

For those seeking value, the Classic model remains competitively priced, while the Neo Plus caters to individuals wanting additional room. Fleet managers may consider increasing their fleet soon if profit margins decrease further.
