KTM RC 160 Starts Arriving At Dealership Ahead Of Official Launch

KTM India introduced the 160 Duke in October 2025, positioning it as the entry-level offering in its motorcycle range. The launch quickly sparked speculation about an RC-series model built around the same engine. While the design of this new machine had remained under wraps, fresh images of the KTM RC 160 have now surfaced, revealing the bike in detail. With the covers finally lifted, enthusiasts can get a clear look at how KTM has shaped this latest addition to its lineup.

A recent video shared by Ck Biker on YouTube offers a closer look at the KTM RC 160, revealing its design similarities with the larger RC 200. This approach is typical of KTM, which often builds multiple displacement models on the same platform, ensuring a consistent design language across its lineup. The RC 160 carries forward the sharp, edgy fairing and sculpted fuel tank that define the RC family, making it instantly recognizable to enthusiasts.

Up front, the scooter features an LED headlight setup accompanied by LED DRLs and turn indicators, all neatly integrated into the fairing. The ORVMs are also mounted on the fairing, while a translucent windshield adds practicality by deflecting wind blasts when riders tuck in. The only notable distinction lies in the RC 160 badging on the side fairing, complemented by KTM's signature "Ready To Race" graphics, which set it apart visually from its sibling while maintaining the brand's sporty identity.

The KTM RC 160 showcased here features alloy wheels finished in black, though orange options may also be available. Unlike the 160 Duke, the RC 160 does not get a TFT instrument cluster. Instead, it comes equipped with an LCD offering Bluetooth connectivity and premium switchgear. The bike uses clip-on handlebars that encourage a forward-leaning stance, while rear-set footpegs add to its sporty riding posture, making the overall setup more engaging for riders.

Powering the KTM RC 160 is the same 164.2cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine found on the 160 Duke. This unit delivers 19 PS of peak power and 15.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The setup ensures the RC 160 carries forward the performance credentials of its naked sibling while offering a sportier riding experience in a fully-faired package.
