Kia India reported 29,112 wholesale dispatches in March 2026, registering a 14.5 percent year-on-year increase over the 25,525 units sold in the same month last year. For the January-March quarter, the automaker posted 84,316 units, reflecting an 11.6 percent rise compared to 75,576 units in Q1 2025.

According to the company, the sales momentum was supported by sustained demand across its SUV and MPV lineup, particularly the new Seltos, alongside steady volumes from the Sonet and Carens range.

Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, "We delivered our best-ever March sales and strongest-ever quarterly performance, driven by sustained demand across our portfolio. The new Seltos, backed by its 5-star BNCAP rating, continues to lead momentum, while Sonet and Carens line-up remain steady volume drivers with continuous enhancements aligned to evolving customer needs."

The new Seltos continues to remain the company's key volume driver, consistently crossing the 10,000-unit monthly sales mark since launch. Its design updates, ADAS suite and 5-star BNCAP safety rating, currently the highest score among ICE vehicles in India, have helped strengthen its position in the premium midsize SUV space.

The Sonet also continued to contribute strongly in the compact SUV segment, helped by broader availability of automatic gearbox options across petrol and diesel variants priced below Rs 10 lakh. Meanwhile, the Carens lineup, including the Clavis ICE and EV, maintained steady traction with premium GT-Line and X-Line trims, captain-seat equipped 6-seater layouts, and its continued focus on practicality and comfort.
