India's festive auto rush is in full swing, with top carmakers rolling out tempting discounts across popular models. Dhanteras has supercharged the momentum, driving up car and two-wheeler sales as buyers embrace the tradition of bringing home new vehicles. Joining the celebration, actor-director-producer Farhan Akhtar has bought the luxurious Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS600.

In a video shared by Buzzzooka Scrolls on YouTube, Farhan Akhtar is seen in his new car in Bandra. As the car stops, Farhan Akhtar steps down from the rear seat. Another angle of the video shows the Mercedes Maybach GLS600 with garlands on the front, suggesting a possibility that the actor just drove ot from the dealership to Bandra.
The Maybach GLS600 stands as Mercedes-Benz's priciest SUV offering in India. Sold in a single variant and imported as a CBU, this flagship model flaunts signature Maybach styling, most notably a large chrome-finished grille. Additional design touches include chrome accents on the B-pillar and the iconic Maybach emblem positioned on the D-pillar.

Under the hood, the Maybach GLS600 packs a 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers approximately 557 hp and 730 Nm of peak torque, with the hybrid unit offering an additional 22 hp and 250 Nm when needed. Power is channeled to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The ex-showroom price for the standard, non-customized version stands at around Rs 3 crore.
