India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) has announced the launch of the MY25 Ninja 300. This updated model of the entry-level sport motorcycle features enhanced style and functionality, while it remains mechanically unchanged. The prices for the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300 start from Rs 3.43 lakh, ex-showroom. In the Indian market, it goes against the likes of the KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3, and Aprilia RS 457. Deliveries of the All-New MY25 Ninja 300 will commence from the 1st week of June 2025.

The MY25 Ninja 300 boasts several upgrades, including a larger windshield, a new projector headlight inspired by the Ninja ZX-6R, and revised tyre patterns for improved on-road stability. The Ninja 300, initially launched globally in 2012 and soon after in India, set a new benchmark in the 300cc segment.
Design-wise, the Ninja 300 features the iconic "mass-forward, minimalist-tail" theme, along with aluminium footpegs, sharp fairings, a floating windscreen, and a multi-function instrument panel. The motorcycle will be available in three colours: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Gray.

The MY25 Ninja 300 is powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder 296cc engine, producing 39PS at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed return transmission with Assist & Slipper Clutch.

This launch coincides with the 42nd anniversary of the Ninja series globally, which began in 1984 with the introduction of the Ninja 900 (GPz900R). The Ninja brand has evolved into a comprehensive family of performance machines, ranging from lightweight supersports like the Ninja 300 to track-dominating hypersport motorcycles such as the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja H2.
