You read that right. Hollywood actress Charlize Theron invited the President of the United States, one of the most powerful men in the world, to a strip club.
She let slip about her little oopsie moment on talk show
Jimmy Kimmel Live! In a video that's currently going viral (for obvious reasons), Kimmel asks the Academy Award-winning actress about the last time she and President Obama were on his show.
"There was a funny thing that happened; we're kinda like where's President Obama and he was chatting with you," he tells Charlize.
She instantly looks extremely uncomfortable and, even before he can ask her what they spoke about, says "this is terrible Jimmy." So, of course, Kimmel and the rest of the world had to know.
Beginning with a disclaimer that she sometimes says inappropriate things when nervous - "It's like Tourettes in a weird way" - Charlize reveals what it was she told POTUS.
Turns out President Obama was talking to the
Mad Max star about reaching out to a younger demographic by being on the show. This is what Charlize's "verbal diarrhoea" came up with: "Well, if you're looking for a different demographic, I can take you to a strip club."
Yep, Charlize Theron asked POTUS to a strip club. And now she's SOOOO embarrassed.
