Resolution in Andhra Assembly not enough: TRS
Press Trust of India, Thursday December 10, 2009, Hyderabad
K T Rama Rao, son of TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, has said that moving a resolution in Andhra Pradesh assembly for creation of separate Telangana state was not enough and asked the Centre to introduce a bill in Parliament for this.

Reacting to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram's statement late this evening that an appropriate resolution would be moved in the state assembly for creation of Telangana, Rao said, "A resolution in the state assembly would not be sufficient to create a state," adding, "The real effort is to bring a Bill in Parliament."

He also said TRS would not accept Telangana without the inclusion of Hyderabad in it. "Hyderabad has been the capital of the region for the last 400 years and they would not accept a separate state without the city," he said.
