Travelling across Northeast India is always full of surprises. Recently, travel content creator Sayan Nath shared an Instagram video about this fascinating place. The home is in Longwa, a small village at the India-Myanmar border. And yes, one side of the house is in India, while the other is in Myanmar.

 "This bedroom is in Myanmar. This room is in India," Sayan explained, showing how the line splits the space in half. It's the kind of reality that makes you pause and just stare. Even the time is confusing. Sayan pointed out, "Both my phones are showing different times. Apple shows it's 5:40, which is Myanmar time. And Android shows it's 4:40, which is Indian time." Locals often do not know which clock to follow - it just depends on which side of the house you are standing on.

He also stated that in Longwa, everyday life works around this unusual setup. The villagers carry dual passports and move between the two countries as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Longwa is not only about borders and time zones. The village has a rich history, the content creator shared. It was once home to the fierce headhunters of Nagaland. Today, only a few remain, but they carry the stories of their past in tattoos and memories.

Sayan's video shows that Longwa is more than just a border curiosity. It is an experience you will not forget. From spotting animal heads displayed outside homes to watching how villagers navigate life split between two countries, it offers a glimpse into a world that's both unusual and oddly familiar.
