Shabana Azmi, at 74, is proving that age is just a number when it comes to being a globetrotter. The film veteran is on an adventurous girls' trip to the icy wonderland of Iceland. Her travel companions include actress Tanvi Azmi, Nayana Dasgupta, Bharti Gandhi, Anuradha Parikh and Ketki Parikh. Recently, Shabana Azmi shared a video on Instagram dishing out pure travel goals. The clip showed the star soaking in the beauty of the all-blue surroundings - icebergs, crystal-clear waters and an azure sky. She and her travel companions posed for fun pictures against the scenic backdrop of jagged rocks and deep caves, braving the chilly temperatures with smiles on their faces.
Shabana Azmi and her friends also explored the iconic Gerouberg Cliffs, also known as basalt columns in Iceland. This striking natural formation features hexagonal rocks sculpted by environmental factors and is a major tourist attraction in the country. The girl gang also indulged in a delicious gastronomical affair, treating their taste buds to a lip-smacking black-crust pizza topped with veggies and another cheesy, pepperoni-loaded one. "Chilling in Iceland," read the text overlay in the post.

Shabana Azmi and her group visited the famous Hraunfossar (Lava Falls) - a series of cascading waterfalls in Iceland. Hraunfossar, formed by rivulets streaming out of the Hallmundarhraun lava field, is located near another major waterfall, Barnafoss. Since Hraunfossar lies in an active volcanic region, the lava fields also contain several hidden caves, the longest being Vidgelmir. Meanwhile, Barnafoss plunges through a narrow, rocky valley, foaming and churning spectacularly.

Some of the travel enthusiasts also stopped at the Kerio volcanic crater, known for its rusty-red rock walls and a vivid aquamarine lake at its centre.
Shabana Azmi's Iceland escapade has definitely triggered our wanderlust!
