Travelling across India is always an adventure. Think scenic views, delicious street food, warm hospitality - and surprise monkey encounters. Whether you are strolling through the misty streets of Manali or soaking in the beauty of Vrindavan, these mischievous animals are everywhere, ready to add a little chaos to your journey. From snatching sunglasses to cheekily running away with your packet of chips, they often become a traveller's unofficial and undesirable tour guide, with a knack for theft.

A travel vlogger who met with a similar situation while exploring Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu recently shared his laugh-worthy experience on Instagram.

The clip opens with a borderline hilarious scene where a group of monkeys are seen stealing food items from the vlogger's scooter compartment. "I am getting robbed by the monkeys," he yells, before revealing that they took an entire chocolate cake and a bunch of oranges. Moments later, one monkey is seen calmly peeling an orange and eating it by the side of the road. "They robbed my bag. It is empty," he exclaims, with a mix of amusement and mild disappointment. His caption read, "I got robbed in India. Can't believe these guys got me. I was saving that chocolate cake and oranges for tonight. Now, I am hungry."
