National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) under the MoE has devised the curriculum for this course as per NEP 2020 in such a way that it enables a student-teacher to get a degree in education as well as a specialized discipline such as History, Mathematics, Science, Arts, Economics or Commerce.

Over 2 Lakh Indians Studying In American Universities: Report

As many as 206,582 Indians are currently enrolled in American universities and institutes of higher education, registering a growth of over 14 per cent, with most of them studying science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) courses, according to new official figures.
