Chennai:
The Tamil Nadu state Haj Committee will conduct a draw of lots (qurrah) for selection of Haj pilgrims from the state for 2013.
This was due to the fact that the quota for the state was only about 3,000. The draw would be held on April 23 at 4.00 PM at the New College in Chennai, an official release said.
The draw of lots was being conducted on the instructions of the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai, the release said.
