This is Frustrating: When Useful Objects Get a Make-Under
Could you imagine a world where you had a key to a door with no handle? A chair you couldn't sit on? A glass you couldn't possibly sip from? Just imagine how incredibly frustrating it would be.

Here's a designer who has given regular, daily objects a make-under to show just how tough life can be with/without these items.

Titled The Uncomfortable Project, Athens-based architect Katerina Kamprani deliberately designed everyday objects to be inconvenient. On a closer look you will realize the objects can still be used, only it would be extremely problematic.

"The goal is to re-design useful objects making them uncomfortable but usable and maintain the semiotics of the original item," it says on the website. Sadistic or a clever way to make you see the importance of the little things in life, you decide. Check out a few below:

1. A watering can, to water your watering can. How ingenious... NOT.

2. Just imagine a shirt with eight of these buttons. Now imagine having to sow one on, in case you lose one.

5. To do: Buy a dinner table and put these chairs around it. Then invite over some friends. And voila, now you don't have any friends.
