Carrie Fisher's dog Gary has his own Twitter account (albeit unverified) with over 46,000 followers.

The world lost two legends within days of each other this week. We were still grieving for pop sensation George Michael when Carrie Fisher, who played the iconic Princess Leia in the Star Wars films, died on December 23, days after she suffered a heart attack. Now, as social media pays tribute to the actor, the most heartbreaking tweets come from Carrie Fisher's dog Gary, for his mommy.

Gary, a French bulldog who was frequently seen accompanying Ms Fisher, has his own Twitter account (albeit unverified) with over 46,000 followers. It is the tweets posted from Gary's account that are the saddest to read after the star's death.

It's unclear who posts from the dog's account. However, since Ms Fisher's death, 'Gary' has posted several tweets bidding his mommy goodbye.
