- The resident of Fujian province was looking to do his laundry on May 29
- He put his head in the washing machine thinking something was stuck in it
- The fire department had to be called in to rescue him
The man, a resident of Fujian province, was looking to do his laundry on May 29 when he realized the machine wasn't switching on, reports People's Daily, China. Thinking there was something stuck in it, the unnamed man, stuck his head inside it to check what was wrong. Only, his head didn't come out with the same ease that it went in with. Oops!
The man's roommates realized what had happened and after failed attempts to pull their friend out, called the fire department. It took six officers 40 minutes and complete dismantling of the machine to free him.
The man was luckily saved in the nick of time and got away with only a few scratches. You can't say the same for machine though.
Next time, just call the professionals.
