Lucknow:
A man allegedly killed his wife and injured his five-year-old daughter in Chiluatal area of Gorakhpur district, police said here on Sunday.
Navpurni, 28, and her five-year-old daughter was hit with an axe by Ramlal in a fit of rage due to a dispute, they said.
While the woman died on the spot, the injured child was admitted to hospital, where her condition was stated to be stable, they added.
