There's still some time to go for her debut film, Dhadak, but Janhvi Kapoor is a star so many look up to already. Janhvi's celebrity status has been achieved fairly before most people achieve theirs, way ahead of her first stint in Bollywood. Sure, one could assign some of the credit here to the Kapoor surname attached to her, and the curiosity many have because of the popularity of her late mother, Sridevi. But mostly, Janhvi seems to be carving a space for herself already through the way in which she carries herself and the way in which she dresses. Janhvi's sartorial choices seem to have clicked with the masses who can be found counting her amongst the top fashionistas in Bollywood. Although Janhvi has made some pretty great fashion choices so far, she seems to stand out particularly when she picks outfits from her favourite designer, Manish Malhotra.
Manish Malhotra has reportedly been a close friend of the Kapoor family, and clearly, Janhvi's favourite designer as one can tell from the choices she makes. A lot of Janhvi's formal Indian clothes for weddings and events have been from Manish Malhotra - and coincidentally, those have also been some of Janhvi's most stylish moments.
Recently for her cousin Sonam Kapoor's wedding, Janhvi chose to wear Manish Malhotra creations throughout. Even amongst all the glitz and glamour at the Sonam and Anand wedding, Janhvi managed to stand out in her beautiful outfits.
For both the mehendi lagaai and the mehendi/cocktail ceremony, Janhvi chose to wear white Manish Malhotra outfits.
For the main wedding Janhvi chose a colourful lehenga with pink as the base colour. She looked absolutely resplendent.
It was another Manish Malhotra creation for Janhvi at Sonam and Anand's wedding reception. This time Janhvi went for a powder blue number.
Earlier this month, we saw Janhvi in a custom made Banarasi saree from Manish Malhotra. She carried the saree off with grace and poise.
