A boat ride to the palace in the rustic wooden boats built by boat makers of Vrindavan, is one of the romantic escapades for couples during sunset. Gaitore is a small valley situated on the Jaipur-Amer road, which can be missed out in the first glance. But behold, the district offers grand marble and sandstone cenotaphs (chhatris) that take us back into a journey of the grand royal heritage of the supreme rulers of Jaipur. The memorials of Gaitore illustrate the quintessential blending of Islamic and Hindu architecture. These open domed pavilions are beautifully crafted on pure white marble and sandstone, embellished with intricate peacock deigns and patterns and stand on a raised platform.

This old-world charm is often mistaken to be purely religious. But Pushkar has multiple aspects to it that are unheard of. The annual cattle fair in October, magnificent Brahma temple, sprawling pristine ghats on the banks of holy Pushkar lake, Man Mahal, the lively bazaars providing a sneak peek into the incredible Rajasthani cuisine, art and culture are few things you can't afford to miss. City Palace

One of the most famous Jaipur attractions, the City Palace is the epitome of Rajput, European and Mughal architecture and houses several palaces, courtyards, bunch of verdant gardens, temples and special structures inside its design. Located in the central part of the city, the seven-storeyed fortress was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, and features intricate carvings, floral designs, mural paintings, embellished ceilings and mirrored walls, reflecting the royal lifestyle of the past rulers of this historic city.

Enjoy the puppet show inside the complex, giving a sneak peek of the vibrant Rajasthani style showcasing the history, myths and legend complemented with background music and vocals.
