Have you ever seen a star landing on Earth? It would definitely look like Bhumi Pednekar in this shimmer-loaded saree. Taking the sustainable route with fashion being at its peak, the actress draped Bloni Atelier's custom-made saree. The ravishing six yards was designed using recycled metal, which, believe it or not, can later be melted to regenerate it further. She styled the loosely draped saree with a matching silver mesh bodysuit. Wait, don't miss out on her bralette with fluorescent borders.
Did someone say contemporary ethnic look? Presenting to you Pednekar in Ritika Mirchandani's lehenga set. Looking like an illuminated night sky, Bhumi wore a black lehenga with broad golden embellished borders. She paired it with a hand-embroidered sequin anarkali blouse, with a plunging scallop neckline.
If you thought that to be enough gleam, you were mistaken, as mirror work was still waiting to make her look dazzling. The actress wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's regal white saree. Wondering what's so contemporary about that? Her see-through tulle cape rested on her shoulders like a crown. Apart from the tiny stones, little tassels added up to its stylish elements.
We agree Bhumi looks “pristine in all that white.” Courtesy: Anamika Khanna. The actress wore an Indo-western co-ord set. The three-piece set featured embroidered sleeveless blouse and a dhoti-style skirt. She paired it all with a cape-like embroidered dupatta that rested on her shoulders. Steve Madden's heels added the final touch to the look.
For Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding reception, she yet again draped on a heavily embellished saree. Giving it a contemporary touch, the actress styled it in a back-to-front style pallu. Bhumi paired the saree with an oh-so-slinky blouse, with a daring neckline. The saree is from the shelves of Tarun Tahiliani.
For an award night, Pednekar went with an all-black look. But we were flattered to witness the stunning amalgamation of embroidery with subtle sequin. The actress wore a gorgeous lehenga set by Faraz Manan. The outfit featured a heavily embroidered lehenga with a scalloped waistline. She paired it all with a sleeveless blouse with lace borders. She styled her fishnet dupatta like a cape.
Bhumi was a “golden dream” when she slipped into Shantanu and Nikhil's heavy-duty lehenga. The overall golden embroidery made her appear radiant, as she is. Don't forget to admire her seashell risque blouse with narrow straps.
Here's to a fashionable birthday Bhumi Pednekar!
