As an ace interior designer and missus to Shah Rukh Khan, style comes naturally to her, even though we don't see her as often as we like. We did happen to spot her recently though and with perfect timing, no less as the weekend draws near. Malaika Arora threw a star-studded party to launch the Mumbai arm of the global accessory brand Ahikoza in the city. With a hostess like this one, of course it was the it place in the city that night. Along with the likes of Sophie Choudry, Maheep Kapoor and Amrita Arora, Gauri Khan also attended the event.

Gauri Khan wore a black midi dress and being age-appropriate and charming; was the perfect choice for her. The narrow strap mini dress had a sheath style that draped her body elegantly and reached below her knee with its length. A sheer detailed neckline gave it a daring touch without going overboard. Gauri paired it with a silver pair of pointed pumps on her feet and a diamond and emerald necklace around her neck.

With her hair styled in waves, Gauri's makeup was neutral toned but still high on glamour. If you thought little black dresses were only a young woman's game, Gauri Khan will make you think again.
