Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan tied the knot in a registered marriage ceremony in Mumbai on January 3, 2024. Fitness is key for this couple and with their penchant for going the unconventional route with their wedding festivities, the groom Nupur Shikhare jogged a distance of about 8 kilometres to the venue for the registered marriage with his friends. Following the legal ceremony, the wedding festivities are currently taking place at Udaipur. Ahead of the festivities, the couple also arranged a series of exercises for their family and friends. As Nupur is a fitness trainer, workouts and fitness exercises are undoubtedly a part of their pre-wedding ceremonies this time too. From classic push-ups to more unique moves like donkey kicks to wrestler sit-outs, these exercises offer a challenging yet rewarding workout experience and were performed by the couple and their friends. Let's have a look at how.

1. Push-Ups
A timeless exercise, push-ups are a fundamental upper-body workout that engages the chest, shoulders, and triceps. This bodyweight exercise can be modified based on fitness levels, making it accessible for beginners while remaining challenging for seasoned fitness enthusiasts.
2. Jump Squats
Jump squats are an advanced version of the traditional squats. They enhance lower body strength and power. This dynamic movement not only works the quadriceps and glutes but also boosts cardiovascular endurance, making it an efficient full-body exercise.
3. Namaskar Push-Ups
Blending the traditional push-up with the Namaskar or prayer position, this variation incorporates elements of yoga. Namaskar push-ups engage the chest and triceps while promoting flexibility and mindfulness, creating a mix of strength and balance.
4. Squat And Press
Combining a squat with an overhead press, this compound movement targets the lower body, core, and shoulders. The squat and press not only build strength but also improves coordination and stability.
5. Wide Push-Ups
By widening the hand placement during push-ups, this variation places greater emphasis on the chest muscles. Wide push-ups are an effective way to diversify your push-up routine and target different areas of the chest, contributing to a more balanced upper body development.
6. Side Squats
Introducing lateral movement, side squats engage the inner and outer thighs while challenging stability. This exercise enhances hip mobility and strengthens the muscles along the sides of the legs, promoting a well-rounded lower-body workout.
7. Burpees
A high-intensity, full-body exercise, burpees combine squatting, jumping, and push-ups. This dynamic movement elevates heart rate, burns calories, and targets multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Burpees are an excellent addition to any high-intensity interval training (HIIT) routine.
8. Donkey Kicks To Wrestler Sit-Outs
This unique combination of donkey kicks and wrestler sit-outs offers an advanced-level workout for the lower body and core. Donkey kicks target the glutes and hamstrings, while wrestler sit-outs engage the core and improve agility. This exercise not only builds strength but also adds an element of fun to your routine.
9. Handstand
It is an advanced-level position where the entire body weight is held on the hands laterally. Usually, one starts practicing the exercise by taking the support of the wall, and once he attains perfection, the exercise can be done without the support as well. Handstands build upper-body strength, improve balance and stability, and strengthen the immune system by increasing blood flow throughout the body.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's pre-wedding festivities indeed looked like a fun and healthy way to encourage family and friends to perform exercises regularly.
