Britney Spears is riding high on life and it looks like things are only going to move higher. The pop star got engaged to boyfriend Sam Asghari and made news from home with her Instagram video even though she wasn't at the MTV Video Music Awards 2021. In the adorable video, Britney is seen happily stunned after Sam proposed to her. She strikes multiple poses showcasing the rock on her finger while her newly-christened fiancé is all smiles by her side. Britney is seen in a pink toned top with billowy sleeves along with a black choker necklace and her blonde hair dip-dyed bright pink. She kissed Sam on the cheek and gleefully says "yes!" when he asks her if she likes the ring.

On his own Instagram profile, Sam posted a photo of the couple locking lips while Britney showcases her engagement ring with a red tipped manicure on her fingers. But it's safe to say that this isn't a celebrity engagement ring like any other. The 4-carat round cut diamond is set on a simple band and is also engraved on the inside with the word 'lioness' which is his pet name for her. Isn't that just the sweetest thing?
