When in comes to bridal wear, a designer who is undoubtedly a popular pick among to-be-brides is Manish Malhotra. The designer's gorgeous creations are of course a favourite with Bollywood celebrities too, who never miss an opportunity to wear showstopping lehengas, sarees and dresses from his label. Latest to dazzle in his exquisitely crafted bridal wear was politician Praful Patel's daughter, Poorna Patel, who recently tied the knot with industrialist Namit Soni. Needless to say, the wedding was a glamorous affair, with the guest list including many B-town celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha and more.
The centre of attention, the bride, Poorna Patel, turned to Manish Malhotra to create her bridal attire for the various functions. In true Manish Malhotra style, each one of her look was uber glamorous with all the sparkles. For the wedding reception, Poorna wore a custom-made glittery gold lehenga-saree, which had intricate texturing and hand-crafted detailing. Poorna accessorised it with sparkly diamond jewellery while wearing her hair loose.

For Poorna's bridal look, Manish Malhotra created a stunning off white and soft pink lehenga-choli, which took more than three months in making. In one of his Instagram posts, Manish elaborated on this creation by saying that the "off white lehenga has fabric soft pink flowers embroidered with light silver zardosi, embroidery of encrusted leaves and flowers... Enchanted beautiful garden celebrating romance with soft ethereal colours enhanced with phiroze blue embroidered borders. Trailing and flowey, the lehanga has the names of Poorna and Namit embroidered and beautiful shlokas and sayings too, making it memorable and timeless, and Poorna the regal soft beautiful princess."
During her sangeet function, Poorna broke tradition by opting for a sparkly white lehenga, and looked absolutely gorgeous while doing so. White definitely continues to be this season's favourite colour trend, and modern brides are surely making the most of it. Poorna's custom-made lehenga had intricate three dimensional thread work in floral patterns and encrusted crystals that added oomph.
Poorna accessorised it with diamond and emerald jewellery while tying her hair into a sleek ponytail.
Bringing in a burst of colourpop, for her mehendi function, Poorna wore a gold and bright orange lehenga-choli that had intricate floral detailing. She notched up the glam quotient by sporting statement polki jewellery.
In custom-made Manish Malhotra creations, Poorna Patel's wedding wardrobe was definitely on point.
