Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the BJP's election campaign in Haryana, saying "It is clear whom Haryana will bless in the coming days". Haryana has given all 10 Lok Sabha seats to the BJP, which has been ruling the state for the last five years, in the recently held national elections. Thanking the state for its support, PM Modi said, "To get 55% vote is a great sign of people's support and trust. It is a great honour. The people of Haryana have given more than I asked for".

The country has seen big changes in the last 100 days of the new government, PM Modi said, referring to the crucial laws passed and the massive decision to end the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcate it into two Union Territories.

"Whatever big decisions were taken, it is in your favour... triple talaq, health sector laws, and many steps are being taken to strengthen the economy... be it Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh or the water problem, people have started looking for solutions".

Showcasing the achievements of the Manohar Lal Khattar government, he said, "In the last five years, Haryana has seen state, centre double engine advantage. Projects worth 25,000 crore are being worked upon in the state.  Of these, projects worth Rs 2000 crore have already been launched".

Taking a dig at the opposition Congress, which is still trying to get over the internal crisis triggered by Rahul Gandhi's decision to quit the top post after the defeat in the election, he said, "Some people can't understand. They are so disappointed by their defeat in elections... they are silent".

The Congress has attacked the government, over what it called "subversion of democracy".

Party leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted: Congratulations to the Modi Govt on #100DaysNoVikas, the continued subversion of democracy, a firmer stranglehold on a submissive media to drown out criticism and a glaring lack of leadership, direction & plans where it's needed the most - to turnaround our ravaged economy".
