Mumbai airport runway revamped

Mumbai: The passengers at the Mumbai airport can now expect a much smoother run.

After nine months of work, a wider and smoother runway will be available for 24/7 operations as early as next week.

The main runway has been widened from 45 metres to 60 metres to facilitate movement of super jumbos like the Airbus 380.
