Should I give my daughter influenza vaccine?

My 8 years old daughter is suffering from chronic tonsillitis. As swine flu is on the rise in India, is it advisable to get her vaccinated against known flu strains? If yes, which is safest and best flu vaccine available for children?

As of now, other influenza vaccines have not been shown to protect from swine flu. A specific vaccine for swine flu is still under development.
