How soon can one travel by air after by pass surgery?
Question
My husband had quadruple by-pass surgery two months back and is feeling remarkably well. He is in a rehabilitation program, and has done very well in his stress test. My question to you is how soon can he travel by air after his surgery? His general practitioner has said it is OK but people have told us it is very risky.
