My 39 years old wife missed her periods for nearly two months. We went for a urine pregnancy test and ultrasound, which have come out negative. Did she have a missed abortion?

Yes, she is having a missed abortion for which she needs a treatment of emptying the uterus. After that she can plan a pregnancy after 6 months again. In between, she will need treatment for finding the cause of abortion and medication accordingly.
