After facing a lot of criticism from the opposition over the serial blasts in Bodh Gaya, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said "we all need to learn from our mistakes."
Following are the highlights of what he said:
The NIA team reached in the evening-investigation in progress. Whatever happened is strongly condemnable. We have to face this with unity
We are writing to the government on the issue of CISF
Not only the security outside the temple but also the security inside the temple premises be taken over
What inputs were received? All questions linked to these can be answered by the DGP and Home Secretary
Need to take it seriously, lessons should be learnt for future from such incidents
Nobody can claim that such incidents won't ever happen in country. 9 blasts happened, 3 were defused
On politicizing issue:
BJP and RJD ki ekta dikh rahi hain
So because of this everything has been exposed(BJP-RJD relation)
There are protests against me-who do you think is doing this
Both of them are together now
What happened, who was involved should all be left to the investigation team
But the culprits should be
Ulta chor kotwal ko daante. Hum kabhi bayan bahadur nahi the. (we never believed in lofty proclamations)
The govt is stable
