'Stunning' Mira Rajput, As Clicked By Shahid Kapoor

New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor delighted everyone by posting a lovely picture on Instagram featuring his wife Mira Rajput, who can be seen wearing a black and orange dress, with minimal makeup. The picture posted by the 36-year-old actor was supposedly taken before Mira Rajput headed to the party hosted by the Ambanis at their Mumbai residence on Saturday. Shahid Kapoor was unable to accompany her as he was busy with his Padmavati schedule. "Who's that STUNNER. Clicked by me," wrote the Haider actor. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married in 2015. Mira Rajput celebrated her birthday on September 8 and the actor made sure that her day was extra special. The couple were not only spotted on a lunch date but also partied with their friends in the evening.

In August, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were vacationing in London where they celebrated their daughter Misha's first birthday (August 26).

Earlier this week, Shahid Kapoor shared the first look of his character Rani Padmavati's husband Rawal Ratan Singh from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-talked about film Padmavati. The actor has learnt sword-fighting and martial arts for his role in the film.

Padmavati also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Deepika features in the titular role while Ranveer Singh will portray the role of historic ruler Alauddin Khilji.

Padmavati is expected to release later this year.

After Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor will feature in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh's next venture.

In an interview with news agency PTI, the filmmaker said that he is 'looking forward' to working with Shahid Kapoor.

"With films like Kaminey, Jab We Met, Haider and Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor has definitely proved his mettle as an actor. Having said that, his star presence is undeniable and I look forward to working with him," PTI quoted Shree Narayan Singh as saying.
