When Shilpa Shetty announced her break from social media four days ago, she left us all in a state of shock. But now she is back on social media platforms and there couldn't have been a better way to do it than her latest post. Shilpa is giving us a sneak peek into her upcoming film Nikamma. She has posted her first look poster on Instagram. In the movie, she plays the role of a “superwoman” character Avni. In the animated photo, the actress is dressed in a blue and red superhero outfit with a red cape and a sword. Her caption read, “Now we're talking in a brand new avatar. Who is the real Avni? Do show some love and watch this space for more (sound on). Remember tomorrow May 17, launching the Nikamma trailer at 11:30 am.” Shilpa Shetty's sister and actress Shamita Shetty commented, “Hotness personified.” Bigg Boss 15 contestant Rajiv Adatia wrote Shilpa's name with fire emojis. Fans welcomed the actress' presence on social media with a lot of fanfare in the comments sections. Some also ended up calling Shilpa the “desi Gal Gadot”.

A few days ago, Shilpa Shetty left us wondering with a cryptic note on Instagram. She posted a pitch-black photo and announced her sudden break from social media. At the same time, Shilpa hinted that she would come back with her “new avatar.” She wrote, “So bored of the monotony, everything looking the same... going off social media till I find a new avatar.”

On the work front, Shilpa Shetty will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty's series Indian Police Force. She'll share the screen with Sidharth Malhotra. The actress announced her upcoming work on Instagram and left us awed with her look from the Amazon Prime Video series. She wrote, “Ready to set the OTT platform on fire for the first time. Super thrilled to join the action king Rohit Shetty in his cop universe Indian Police Force on Prime, now filming.”
