Palekar, Ghosh's films to premier at IFFI

Six member jury headed by Malayalam filmmakerShamaprasad selected the three films after watching all themovies in the screening facility at Macquiniz Palace.

Palekar's Dhoosar is shot in Goa and is featuringSmita Tambe in its lead role. Marathi cinema's veteran actorsincluding Reema Lagu, Upendra Limaye, Jyoti Subhash and AmrutaKhanvilakar star in the movie.

And for Goa's own filmmaker, Rajendra Talak, theselection has helped him keep up the record of premiering hismovies alternate years in IFFI.

The national award winning filmmaker had his movieAlisha premiered in 2004, Antarnad in 2006 andSawariya.com in 2008.

O Maria is entirely shot in Goa and hasinternationally acclaimed musician of Goan origin RemoFernandes composing title song for it.
