The 47-year-old actor, who is currently filming OnStranger Tides - the fifth movie in the Pirate series - inLondon, blasted the culinary treats he was offered, reportedSun online.

Depp refused to eat the sausage and mash, jacketpotato and salad, spinach and ricotta ravioli and chickencurry on offer, terming them "just awful" and asked to beserved takeaway noodles instead from Japanese chain Wagamama.

"He was really annoyed, said he needed somethingdecent to survive and kept on about noodles," said a source.

The actor was also overheard complaining that Britishworkers were slower at set changes on the movie than theirAmerican counterparts.

It was recently revealed that Depp, who lives inFrance with long-term partner Vanessa Paradis and theirchildren Lily-Rose, 11, and eight-year-old Jack, travels towork by sailing a luxury yacht named The Jolly Roger down theRiver Thames every day.

"Johnny chose to charter a boat for the week becauseit's the easiest and quickest way to get there. He's beenflying in from his home in France some mornings and hopping onthe yacht at Battersea. He's been enjoying the views from thewater," said the source.
