Item songs have become first look of films: Sunidhi

I don't understand why people call it an item number when big actors are performing on that song. Take for reference Katrina Kaif or Malaika Arora Khan, they are not item girls, but heroines. So, why call the songs an item numbers?
  • "But I am glad those songs are treated specially and in a different way. Most of the item songs today are shot on a very large scale and they are paid more attention to. I am pretty happy about it and I would love to do many more in future," the 28-year-old told IANS.
