Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone celebrated her 29th birthday on January 5 and a bunch of fans produced a treat of the sweetest sort for The Dimpled One, modelled on her next film.
What's a birthday without a cake, after all? And so, for Deepika with love, a Piku-themed cake decorated with fondant figures representing Deepika and a cycle-riding Amitabh Bachchan, who plays her father in the Shoojit Sircar-directed film.
Deepika's other birthday gifts reportedly included a limited edition designer clutch from rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh. Ranveer and Deepika are also believed to have flown from New Year celebrations in the Maldives to Bangalore so that Deepika could spend her birthday at home with her family. Ranveer also accompanied Deepika, her mother and her little sister Anisha on a shopping trip to a Bangalore mall.
